It Is All About You
I work with high net worth clients and their families to discover and help them achieve what matters most to them. With wealth comes complexity, and it is my responsibility to make things simpler and easier by providing a holistic strategic plan in tune with your needs and the needs of those you care about. Every person is unique, therefore every plan is unique and individualized. My role is to get to know you and your family on a deeply personal level, learn about your values, priorities and goals, and work together over the long-term to achieve your vision of success.
As a Wealth Advisor, I don't manage investments, my role is to understand what is important to you, what keeps you up at night, and what your immediate priorities and long term goals are. I will then bring in the appropriate TD specialist into the conversation and will create a wealth strategy with specific next steps to help ensure you achieve your personal goals. Our approach is anchored in four key wealth pillars, building net worth, implementing tax efficient strategies, protecting what matters, and leaving a legacy.
About Me
I started as a teller with Canada Trust in 1993 while finishing my undergrad at UBC and loved getting to know the clients. This led to a banking career with TD spanning over 26 years in gradually senior roles, always with a focus on relationships on people. I love what I do and am dedicated to my clients, take a personal interest in their families, and take as much time as it takes to understand their unique vision and goals with genuine care and compassion.
I hold the Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) and Professional Financial Planning (PFP®) designations, and have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. I feel strongly about giving back and always involved in the community, currently a member of the Sports Celebrities Festival committee to benefit Special Olympics BC and Canucks for Kids fund as well as the Homes for the Holidays committee for Kids Help Phone.
During my spare time, I love to travel, read, stay active (including efforts to improve my golf game) and get outside whenever I can to enjoy the beautiful west coast. On weekends, you will most likely find me being a soccer mom on the pitch cheering on my daughters, ages 13 and 15, play.
